Brown Lipliner
As a medium-neutral, olive skin girl, I STRUGGLE with colors in general. This is why I stick to neutrals when it comes to my clothing. With makeup, it’s even harder. My lips love to do this thing where cool-toned liners turn ashy on me, and warm ones look bright orange. The only kind that actually look good on me, in every light? Brown. This is why it’s my favorite color; it never lets me down. So I needed to give my top three favorites a shout-out this month. If you are in the same boat as me, and want to cry every time you try a new lip liner, I promise (promise), these will work wonders for you.

Described as a rich chocolate brown, and it is truly a rich chocolate brown. It’s a multi-use liner, and is stunning on the eyes. When you swatch it on your hands, it looks like a basic brown, but once applied, there really is so much richness to the tone. Little tip: I love taking a liner that doesn’t work on its own for me, and adding it on top to blend the brown in. Gives me the perfect nude shade every time.
Every time I see a lip liner described as a chocolate brown, I cringe when it ends up having the most ORANGE base. When I think of chocolate brown, I think of a neutral mocha color, and this is exactly what this is. It’s not harsh at all on me, and Mario’s formulas are top-tier. I can’t stress enough how much I love this one.
A new favorite, and only six dollars. I seriously ordered another one to live in my bag the first time I swatched this. It’s that good. It’s another good neutral that I’d argue leans slightly more cool, and is very subtle. If you’re a bit paler and feel intimidated by a brown liner, I’d say this is a great one to try. Pair it with a nude gloss, and you have the perfect combo.
40 Dates and 40 Nights
I’d hate to be my living room Wyze camera, because I could only imagine the stupid look on my face as I went “AWWW” for the 50th time while watching this movie. Honestly, for the first 15-minutes of the movie, I had my doubts, but the minute the story started to evolve, I was hooked. The chemistry these two actors had was so insane that I had to search to see if they were dating in real life. It’s the sweetest love story, and the characters were so likable. 10/10 recommend if you’re looking for a new rom-com to watch.
Crown Affair The Leave-In Conditioner Cream
I’ve gone back and forth with using this over the past year or two. I really do love it, but just prefer a spray leave-in. But I recently started using this again and was quickly reminded how dreamy it is. My hair feels so light the next day, so soft, and so much easier to style after using it the night before. I’m close to running out, but this is something I will need to rebuy once I finish a few other stray leave-ins that I have (yay me for trying not to be wasteful).
I got it. Yup, I knew I’d give in eventually. I mentioned this bag in my last Reserved For post, and it’s a dream. I truly am a sucker for anything brown colored, and the Maple color from Coach is so stunning and rich. I feel so 90’s NYC, and I will be using this all fall long. So roomy, so sleek, so light, so easy to style.
Fenty Butta Drop Hydrating Body Milk in Vanilla Flowers
I wish I had the proof, but I mentioned in a now-deleted post months ago that this was my dream product. I purchased the body wash the second I smelled it in Ulta when it first dropped, and ever since, I’ve wanted this scent in every body care product possible. When I saw they dropped a body milk, I ran to order. I’ve been wanting to try Fenty’s body milk in general, so this was a double-win. No surprise here, it’s great. I love it. The scent, the hydration—Fenty never fails me.
The amenities are officially yours to enjoy. I highly recommend partaking in a few.
