How cliché to say November is the time to practice gratitude. Not just for what we have, but for what we want, too. We are thankful for the chapters of growth. For the days we don’t have all the answers, for the nights we pray for it to all make sense. We can be grateful for the moment, for all the different depths of emotions. Some days are light, some will be heavy, but we can live while we learn, grow as we go—and there’s beauty in that.
November reminds us to practice optimism. Who has time to talk about what’s going wrong when we’re focused on all that is right? And if the wrong won’t last forever, what’s the point of paying it any mind anyway? November has us look on the bright side, in the midst of a colder season, when the sun steps away all too soon. We can follow our own faith, our own hope, knowing all the work will one day pay off.
With Love,
